Hana Japan (hana: “flower”) specializes in a style of Japanese cuisine: teppanyaki (teppan: “metal grill”, yaki “to grill”).

Our teppanyaki grills are used to cook in front of our guests for a memorable dining experience.

Our mission is to create meaningful memories by cooking fresh meals for you at your table, sharing in laughter and connection.

In 1979, Chef Yoon opened our first location and restaurant, a place for families to gather and where children love to eat.

​We are now proudly serving two locations in the Bay Area: Berkeley, California and Dublin, California.
